This is my first official year of stating a business'. I make small leather goods such as wallets, journals, guitar straps and more. The reason for making this business' is to give tribute to my family by showing people what skills they have learned and things they have built. My vision for this business is to create small items with a laser machine, which is a skill my grandfather picked up in the early 2000's. I want to also create wooden items that my uncle and father have taught me how to make. I also want to show off the creative writing and art my family has made as well. This is the future of my business' and a goal I want to reach. This is my reason why of starting and I have started by creating leather goods. Leather is a material that is strong, durable and last lifetimes. Just like my reason why, leather is a material that will age well with time. This is a skill that I want to display. With the goal being to tribute my family's name, I will keep my shop filled with exciting new items, keeping it fun and giving a glimpse of what it means to being apart of the "Short" family.
