4-H is a youth development program. We promote youth to become citizens in the community and to promote our program to other youths and volunteers. We are a 4-H group wanting to promote 4-H to the public coming through the Farmers Market. We have had youths bring in small animals such as rabbits, chickens and guinea pigs as well as mini horses. They talk about how to learn about the care and health of the animals. We have had youth promote other projects such as fine arts , flower arranging and other opportunities for youth to attend national events.
